Recipe
Makes 2
You will need:
0.25L / 8oz double wall glass cups
2 heaped teaspoons of Red Sparrow Lavender Earl Grey tea
Small teapot or any heat proof vessel
Strainer
15ml of Vanilla Syrup
Lavender ( To Garnish )
Step One
Choose 2 of your favourite cups. I am using 0.25L / 8oz double wall glass cups so adjust your tea accordingly as the tea must be extra strong.
Step Two
Put 2 heaped teaspoons of Red Sparrow Lavender earl grey tea in a small teapot or any heat proof vessel. Fill up one of your cups with 1/3 of boiling water and tip this in with the tea leaves. Let this brew for 4 minutes.
While your tea leaves are brewing fill your cups with boiling water to preheat them.
Step Three
Stir the leaves to distribute the strong tea nicely. Then once you have emptied the cups of the water tip the brew evenly into the 2 cups using a strainer to catch the leaves. You should now have two nice strong shots of tea.
Step Four
Mix 15ml of Vanilla Syrup into your milk of choice and heat by frothing to give your milk a creamy texture.
Fill your cups with the milk.
Step Five
Top with a sprinkle of lavender, This will give you the aroma of lavender whilst you sip your tea latte making your London Fog Tea Latte a calming and unwinding experience.
